The files were collected by the Secretaries for South America, William E. Cox (1963-1970) and Milton J. Olson (1971-1977). In addition to single files of newsletters, projects, and minutes, there are groupings of reports and correspondence. The reports include visits made by Cox to investigate beginning work, general information on the country, its people, and projects, and mission reports from individual missionaries. The correspondence is primarily between Cox or Olson and the missionaries.
